TAKE THE PLEDGE

There are 15 million registered voters in the U.S. that care about environmental issues, but don’t turn out to vote. In 2018, we can change that, and it starts now.

As midterm elections approach in the U.S., join thousands of others in pledging to turn out at the polls this year, because if we want to give our oceans a voice, we need to raise our voice at the polls.

WHY IS THIS PLEDGE IMPORTANT?

WE ALL COULD USE A REMINDER.

Life gets busy, but by taking the pledge, you’ll get email reminders from our partner, the Environmental Voter Project, before local elections to help you plan ahead.

CANDIDATES LOOK AT WHO SHOWS UP.

Candidates examine the makeup of voter turnout to formulate their platforms, so just by showing up you’re sending a powerful message about what matters to you.

ALREADY A PERFECT VOTER?

People are more likely to turn out if they think friends and family are planning on it. Go ahead and sign the pledge anyways – extra gold stars for you.
